All staff interact with the children and observe their progress but their key worker is responsible for maintaining records and is the first point of contact for parents.
Our pre-school utilises The Tapestry Online Learning Journal, which records all of the learning and fun of your child's early years education and you will be given online access to check on their progress whenever you wish.
Our future plans...
We constantly strive to be pro-active in trying new ideas and attending training. Being part of the Children's Centre also enables us to work collaboratively with other partnerships. We also have close links to the local primary schools and aim to continue to develop this relationship.
Working in partnership with parents is paramount and we regularly review our procedures and how we can extend our relationships and the knowledgeable information that we share with each other.

We have been in our current purpose-built premises since 2008, which consists of a large open playroom with designated library and wet areas, as well as themed areas for specific purpose, such as maths, crafts etc.
There are children's toilets and a separate disabled/staff toilet and we have ensured that consideration has been given to easy accessibility for wheel chair users.
We offer an indoor/outdoor free-flow approach and we have large patio doors that lead out from our main room to our wonderful garden area, consisting of a soft surface play area, where we mainly put slides, rockers etc, a grassed area for picnics, roleplay and stories and a tarmac area for ride on toys.
Toys and resources are situated so the children have easy access to them and we offer a cafe style snack so children are allowed to make free choices.
We are a charity status organisation run by a management committee of parents and carers.
We offer childcare on a sessional basis at an affordable rate and we are also registered for funded childcare places.
We pride ourselves in being true to our aim of providing a warm, friendly learning environment for children and their families and our multi-functional premises enable us to provide this in a bright, modern, welcoming environment.
We have a great team of fully qualified staff members who collectively offer a wealth of professional childcare experience. Each staff member has a group of key worker children.
